Giving Thanks

Every day is a new day to thankful for something. You woke up!

The last three years, for me, has been one of the most trying times I have ever endured. On a personal level, an emotional level, a physical level, and probably a few more levels if I think about it. And when I do think about it, it is merely to analyze it and understand it in a way of acceptance. But then again, I woke up today. I'm thankful for another day to change what I can, and accept what I cannot change.

Where ever you are today find three things to be thankful for; your health, your beautiful children, your job.

Tomorrow, find three more things. Your old car, your wardrobe, your common sense. It doesn't matter what it is, just be thankful you have it. Be thankful for the things you don't have too; ill health, a flat tire, no income.

Be thankful for the experience, the lesson and the outcome.

Don't wait for that one day of the year that everyone sits around a table naming the things they are grateful for and the blessing they have received. Make it a choice and a habit everyday. You'll see things greatly and in ways you may not be able to understand at this moment.

Have a happy thanksgiving every day!
